Wonderland is a volunteer-run culture centre in Frejlev, on Lolland-Falster. Old buildings and halls are turned into settings for new communities, culture, technology, art, events and experiments.
Some come to experience it. Others come to build it.
Most end up doing both.
Eight rooms.
One world.
The big hall is packed with gaming and VR gear — room enough for tournaments, LAN parties and experiments with new technology.
What's happening at Wonderland?
Sunfall
A climate LARP set in a post-apocalyptic scene. An annual outdoor festival on the grounds at Wonderland, built around storytelling, community and summer nights.
Laser tag
Tactical laser tag through Mejeriet's dark corridors and out on the grounds — gear for large teams and several courses running at once.
VR esports
VR gear and gaming rigs in Hal 1 for tournaments, free play and esports events.
NERF battle
NERF wars across the halls with courses, cover and team matches for kids and adults alike.
Workshops
From costumes and building to ideas that turn into projects — bring your curiosity and learn something alongside others.
Horror House
Mejeriet's raw industrial space transforms into a chilling scare trail with sets and live actors.
Presentations
Hal 3 becomes a stage for volunteers and associations to present projects, ideas and results to each other.
Open weekends
The doors are open — drop by, meet the volunteers, and see what's happening right now.
Communities
A place to meet around shared interests — from Christmas lunches to Easter lunches. Explore the association’s projects and find your way in.

Grobund
Grobund bridges Wonderland and its partner association Markedshallen in Nykøbing F. — knowledge-sharing, shared activities and stronger networks between local culture venues on Lolland-Falster.

Et bæredygtigt Wonderland
Wonder Studios is applying to Underværker for support to renovate Wonderland’s historic buildings: new roofs, facade restoration, better heating and insulation — so the community can meet safely and sustainably, all year round.

Bæredygtige Fællesskaber
Bæredygtige Fællesskaber (Sustainable Communities) supports new and existing activities with advice, equipment and funding — from the Horror House and laser tag to costume workshops, RGB lighting and better facilities. Supported by, among others, Nordea Fonden, Guldborgsund Municipality, DUF and Den Nationale Landdistriktspulje.

Bæredygtige Faciliteter
Wonderland is strengthening its role as a creative meeting place with a fine workshop, a rough workshop and support for Hal 3 — plus a solar array that covers a substantial share of its energy use and cuts CO₂ emissions.

Vejen til Apokalypsen
An experimental art and scenography project that uses Wonderland’s raw industrial spaces as a canvas for stories about change, decay, and what gets built afterwards.
From abandoned to alive.
Empty shells
Industrial buildings and farm halls that had stood still for years — but with room enough to hold a whole new idea.
The loads come in
Containers, timber and reclaimed materials get driven onto the site. Much of what Wonderland is built from has lived another life first.
Sleeves up
Volunteers move in with tools, paint rollers and a plan. What the budget lacks is made up for in hands.
From shell to set
Floors get sanded, walls get saved, room by room. An old building becomes something no drawing could have predicted.
Full of people
Same buildings, new life. Wonderland is never finished — but it’s in use, every single weekend.
Greener with every stage
Solar panels, insulation and reclaimed materials become a permanent part of the build — Wonderland has to hold up to year-round use without costing the earth.
The grounds fill up
Tents, bonfires and stages move out onto the land between the buildings — Wonderland grows beyond the four walls of any single building.
