"Grobund" is a joint initiative between Wonderland Culture Center and Markedshallen that strengthens volunteering and community on Lolland-Falster.
A new collaboration structure and shared resources, ideas and skills open up room for local innovation and sustainable activities.
The project bridges countryside and town, activates more residents, and makes it easier — and more fun — to volunteer.
The model is built to grow, so more groups and communities can plug in and keep developing it.

We gather the threads
Volunteers' skills, equipment and facilities are mapped and gathered into a digital overview, making it easy to see what exists and how it can be shared.
Coordination and networking
A standing forum brings Wonderland, Markedshallen and other groups together to share ideas and plan activities jointly.
Workshops and events
We run workshops where volunteers meet and learn from each other about project management, sustainable operations and creative development.
Volunteer base and equipment bank
We are building a structure where skills and gear can be shared.
Accessible toilet trailer and activity flooring
An important part of the project’s social sustainability is the shared trailer, which secures equal access for everyone.

Experience is shared through local media, social platforms and networks.

From idea to foundation.
Start-up, organisation, mapping and a digital overview. Purchase of toilet trailer, dance floor and a kick-off event.
Workshops, shared events, pilot operation of the volunteer base and equipment bank, plus a mid-term evaluation.
Rooting the project, knowledge sharing, a closing event and handover of operations to the associations.
